To be a home that raises resilient orphaned and other vulnerable children who attain their destiny against all odds!
To empower and capacitate orphaned and vulnerable children and youth, so they can become active players in the processes that alleviate poverty and suffering in their lives.
To create a stable, safe and loving environment for the children and teenagers to go to after school.

Hope Warriors Children's Charity (HWCC) was established to care for orphaned and vulnerable children and youth in the community of Soshanguve, North of Pretoria. HWCC believes that; ‘Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world’, and thus providing inspiration and support for the children and youth to attain a good education, as a sure passport out of poverty.
With the scourge of HIV/AIDS, crime, unemployment, substance abuse and other social ills in the community, more and more children are left vulnerable in many ways. The number of households in the community headed by children is on the increase, and many these affected children move to the streets, taking up drugs, committing crime and take part in behaviours where they risk being infected by HIV/AIDS.
While the governments in Africa and international bodies such as the United Nations, as well as many other non-governmental organizations continue to make varied interventions, the need to assist orphans and vulnerable children remain overwhelming. With the extended family networks collapsing, many children and teenagers are left with no ‘family’ to look to. Thus many children fall prey to abuse by those they come into contact with, in their attempt to solicit help.
This is where the Hope Warriors Childrens’ Charity (HWCC) seeks intervene and to be the family to the orphaned and vulnerable children in Soshanguve. Our greatest dream is to be a place of ‘hope’ for these young lives. Other than a family environment and a need for belonging, these children have needs such as education, food, shelter, birth certificates, health services (immunization), clothing, to mention but a few. These should not be needs they dream to fulfil, but in most communities in the world are seen as basic human rights. In the informal settlements and rural areas of South Africa, and much of Africa, the communities are however impoverished and unable to assist these children.
Hope Warriors Childrens’ Charity (HWCC) consequently seeks to avail its services in these identified areas and to assist the community at large, by focusing on the most vulnerable and important – the children. The number of young children and teenagers we are helping has invariably grown over the years, and the demand for our support is increasing. Although we are glad to provide all the necessary services to every child that needs it and whose very lives can be transformed and empowered through such an intervention, we simply do not have the resources to fight the battle on our own.
We are ready willing and able to take on the challenge, but we need the assistance and support of any individual or organisation who can find it in their hearts to make the difference Hope Warriors strive to make in the lives of these children.
